Terms
The short version, in full.
Plain terms for booking a notarization with me. If anything here is unclear, ask before you book.
Effective October 2026 · Hereby Notary
Who I am
Cory Suida is a notary public commissioned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, operating as Hereby Notary. I am not an attorney licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and may not give legal advice or accept fees for legal advice. I cannot choose the notarial certificate your document needs, complete blanks, or advise on legal effect.
Booking
Booking through this site reserves a time. Online bookings are confirmed immediately; mobile visits are confirmed by text once I've checked travel. Nothing is charged to book. You agree to provide accurate contact details and to have every signer present with acceptable identification.
Identification and refusal
Every signer must present a current (or, in person, expired less than three years) government-issued photo ID with signature. Online sessions additionally require identity proofing through the platform. I must refuse or stop a notarization if identity cannot be established, if a signer appears not to understand the document or to be signing unwillingly, if the document is incomplete, or if the act would be unlawful. No notarial fee is charged for a refused act.
Fees
Notarial fees follow the Pennsylvania fee schedule (4 Pa. Code § 167.3). Travel, technology and clerical fees are disclosed before any notarization and itemized on your receipt. Online: $25 first act, $10 each additional act in the same session. Mobile: $5 per act plus travel of $45 (Philadelphia) or $65 (surrounding counties), plus $25 for evenings after 7 PM, weekends and holidays. Online sessions are paid at the end of the session; mobile visits at the table. Accepted: card, Apple Pay, Zelle, cash.
Cancellation
Online: cancel or reschedule any time without charge. Mobile: the travel fee applies if you cancel with less than two hours' notice, or if no signer is available when I arrive. Rescheduling earlier than that is free.
Online sessions
Remote online notarizations are performed under 57 Pa.C.S. § 306.1 by me, physically located in Pennsylvania, using a Department-approved communication technology provider. The session is recorded and retained for at least ten years. By booking an online session you consent to the recording and to identity proofing. Whether a recipient accepts an electronically notarized document is the recipient's decision; I'll help you check in advance, but I can't guarantee acceptance.
Documents
Uploaded documents are used only for your notarization and handled as described in the privacy notice. You are responsible for the content and completeness of your documents.
Liability
My liability for any claim relating to a notarization is limited to the fees you paid for that notarization, except where Pennsylvania law provides otherwise. Nothing here limits liability for my own fraud or willful misconduct.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Questions: cory@herebynotary.com.
