About
A notary who builds systems.
I'm Cory Suida, a Pennsylvania notary public based in Philadelphia. Before the commission, I spent years building software and running operations for small businesses, which is why this practice runs the way it does: book in two minutes, get reminded, get a receipt, and know exactly what you paid for.
Why this practice exists
Most people need a notary two or three times in their life, usually at a bad moment: a parent in the hospital, a closing with a deadline, a form a government office kicked back. The experience is often a scavenger hunt: a bank that only serves customers, a shipping store with a line, a stranger who shows up late and asks for cash.
Hereby is built around the idea that the notarization itself is the easy part. The hard parts are getting on the calendar, knowing what to bring, understanding what it will cost, and having a record afterward. So those are the parts this site automates: live availability, uploads before we meet, reminders, itemized receipts, and a session link that just works.
How I work
I follow the Pennsylvania Revised Uniform Law on Notarial Acts to the letter: identity verified every time, no exceptions for friends, no notarizing a document I'm named in, and a journal entry for every act. If a signer seems confused or pressured, I stop. That protects you as much as it protects me.
I'm not an attorney. I can tell you what an acknowledgment is and what a jurat is, and I can explain what the law requires for each. I can't tell you which one your document needs, fill in blanks, or give an opinion on what the document does. For that, you want a lawyer, and I'm happy to wait while you call one.
Online, late
I keep online hours until midnight every day because that's when people actually have time. A signer in California at 8 PM is 11 PM here; a nurse coming off shift wants 10:30. The price is the same at 11 PM as it is at 11 AM.
Ready when you are.
Pick a time, upload the document, and you'll have a confirmation in your inbox before you close the tab.
