How it works
No mystery. Just the steps.
Every notarization answers the same three questions: is this really you, do you understand what you're signing, and are you doing it willingly. Here's how I answer them on video and in person.
Online
Remote online notarization
- 01
Book in two minutes
Choose online, the document type, and a time, any day until midnight. Upload the unsigned document if you have it. A confirmation with a calendar invite lands in your inbox, and your personal session link follows.
- 02
Prove it's you
At your appointment time, open your link. You'll answer five questions drawn from public records (the KBA quiz), then photograph the front and back of your ID. Pennsylvania requires both checks for every online notarization.
About 3 minutes - 03
Meet me on video
I appear on screen, confirm your name and that you understand the document and are signing of your own free will, and watch you sign electronically. If a witness is required, they join the same session.
- 04
Sealed and delivered
I attach my electronic signature and seal. The PDF becomes tamper-evident: any later change breaks the seal. You receive it immediately; I keep the recording and journal entry for ten years.
Mobile
A visit, start to finish
- 01
Book the visit
Choose mobile, the document, the address and a one-hour window. I confirm by text once I've checked the drive, usually within the hour.
- 02
I come to you
I text when I'm on the way. Have every signer present with photo ID and the complete, unsigned document.
- 03
ID, understanding, willingness
I check each ID, confirm each signer knows what the document is and wants to sign it, and administer an oath if the certificate calls for one.
- 04
Ink, seal, embosser, receipt
You sign, I complete the certificate, stamp and emboss it, record the act in my journal, and email the itemized receipt. Payment at the table.
Accepted ID

What I can't do
- Give legal advice or explain legal effect
- Choose which certificate you need or fill in blanks
- Certify copies of vital records
- Notarize a document I'm named in
- Proceed if a signer seems confused or pressured
What to do before
- Don't sign ahead of time
- Ask the recipient if they accept electronic notarization (online)
- Check whether witnesses are required
- Have the complete document, every page
- Text (484) 963-4040 with anything unusual
Ready when you are.
Pick a time, upload the document, and you'll have a confirmation in your inbox before you close the tab.
